Yue(Luna) Zheng

Dr. Yue Zheng joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics at Drexel University as an Assistant Professor in September 2023. She obtained her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego, and her B.S. from Fudan University. Prior to her appointment at Drexel, Dr. Zheng held postdoctoral positions at both the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and the University of Southern California.

Abu Musa Abdullah

Postdoc

Abu Musa Abdullah is a postdoctoral researcher in the Zheng Research Group. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Science and Mechanics from The Pennsylvania State University, where his research focused on functional composites for flexible electronics and hydrogel-based biosensors.

Yuanzhe (Jerry) Zhu

PhD Student

Yuanzhe (Jerry) Zhu is a PhD student in the Drexel Advanced Manufacturing Lab at Drexel University, under the supervision of Professor Jack Zhou and Co-Supervisor Professor Luna Zheng. His research focuses on developing novel metal 3D printing methods, specifically Electric Field Hydrodynamic Driven Thixotropic Bio-Degradable Alloy 3D Micro Printing.

Jeffrey Fynn Walker

Kai Crombie

master Student

Kai Crombie is a Master’s student in Mechanical Engineering at Drexel University with a research focus on soft robotics, particularly in the development of optimized soft grippers for industrial and biomedical applications. He earned his B.A. in Atmospheric Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2021. Outside of Drexel, you can find him mountain biking, climbing, or playing tennis. 

Rudy Lakhani

Rudy Lakhani is currently pursuing a dual degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and Mathematics. Outside of the lab, He enjoys playing squash, reading, and exploring new places!
