DNI and MESC alumnus, Muhammad Boota, who recently defended his PhD thesis, will be joining Intel Corporation as Process Engineer in early December 2017. Congratulations to Boota!
Prof. Gleb Yushin – Highly Cited Researcher
Congratulations to Prof. Gleb Yushin, a former post-doctoral researcher and Research Assistant Professor at DNI, who was named among the most cited scientists in the world. He is among less than 20 ECS members that made the list and is one of the youngest on that list: View the full list here.

2017 Energy Storage Materials Award
Congratulations to Prof. Yury Gogotsi for being awarded the 2017 Energy Storage Materials Award (Elsevier) in recognition of his outstanding achievements in the field of energy storage materials and development.
The First International Conference on Energy Storage Materials 2017
Prof. Gogotsi delivered the a Keynote lecture on Sunday, November 19th at the First International Conference on Energy Storage Materials in Shenzhen, China. Numerous DNI alumni, including Zifeng Lin from Toulouse, France and Xinbing Cheng, from Tsinghua also attended the conference.
Forbes 30 Under 30 in Science
Congratulations to BS alumna Pri Narang (currently, Asst. Prof. at Harvard) on a major national recognition. She has been selected by Forbes Among 30 Under 30 in science for her work on quantum-engineered materials.
