Professor Yury Gogotsi has been selected to receive one of the most prestigious and exclusive awards in the field of materials for his pioneering work on novel carbide and nitride nanomaterials. He follows other outstanding recipients – Stan Whittingham (for battery materials), Russell Dupuis (for MOCDV), and Michael Grätzel (for solar energy materials).
