By creating new composite structures<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW185036903 BCX0\">,<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW185036903 BCX0\"> we can enhance existing properties of certain polymers and add new functionalities. Some examples of <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW185036903 BCX0\">M<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW185036903 BCX0\">Xene<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW185036903 BCX0\">polymer composite applications are EMI shielding, water filtration, and energy harvesting.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW185036903 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7a27df9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7a27df9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ol>\n \t<li><i>MXene-Polymer bonds:<\/i> To achieve MXene\/polymer composites with full multifunctional capabilities, composites research in DNI focuses on controlling the interface between MXene and the polymer to improve the bonding between the two dissimilar materials.
