These are then evaluated using qualitative analysis and expert judgment to determine which show evidence of community-wide recognition from an international and wide-ranging network of citing authors.<\/p><p style=\"box-sizing: inherit; min-height: 0px; min-width: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 1.125rem; padding: 0px; font-size: 18px; line-height: 1.8; max-width: 52.5rem; color: #232d38; font-family: kepler-std, Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif;\">Researchers appearing on the Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers 2024 represent the top 0.1% of the world\u2019s scientists and social scientists by citations. Barsoum and Gogotsi are among only 232 researchers worldwide to appear on the list for the materials field.
