There are about 20 people working on MXenes at KIST, covering topics from the synthesis of MAX and #MXene to surface modifications, composites, electrocatalysis (H2, ORR, CO2, NH3), hydrogen storage, and EMI shielding. Many thanks to their host and former DNI researcher, Seon Joon Steven Kim!<\/p><p>\n\n<\/p><p>From there, Yury and Kyle traveled to Jeju to participate in the KSIEC Spring Meeting 2023 where Yury was a speaker in the MXene Symposium delivering his talk titled \u201cScalable Synthesis and Processing of 2D Carbides and Nitrides (MXenes)\u201d, and Kyle presented his poster, \u201cIon Exchange Coupled with Flocculation Extends Oxidation Stability of V2CTx MXene\u201d. It was amazing to see tremendous interest in MXenes and progress in the field in Korea. There were more than 30 posters presented on MXenes!<\/p>\n\n<p>Thank you to Prof. Insik In of at Korea National University of Transportation, Chungju, South Korea and research professor Dr. G.
