I’m so incredibly proud of the senior design teams who presented at the Civil, Architectural & Environmental Engineering at Drexel University poster event today! This is one of the most rewarding parts of the job to me. Watching their growth is priceless! And our students keep raising the bar every year. This year, one of my teams had a 3D printed structural model, and the other had a VR headset with an immersive experience through the building! I’ve seen several teams elevate their sustainable construction game and present building life cycle assessments, LEED and WELL certification criteria, and design with reclaimed materials. It’s one of the most tangible ways to see the results of my mission in teaching, and the wonderful work my colleagues are doing in their classrooms, and I thoroughly enjoy the experience! Now they go on to their next chapters, with jobs lined up and dreams to come true ☺️
