Professor Wen recently attended the Healthy Buildings conference in Germany along with her colleagues as part of the NSF IN2WIBE project.
She also chaired a seminar in ASHRAE summer conference in Tampa FL on Flexible Building Equipment Performance Verification using Hardware-in-the-Loop Testbeds. Along with Mr. Armando Casillas from LBNL, Ms. Bethany Sparn from NREL, she introduced three on-going projects funded by the U.S. Department of Energy seeking to develop publicly available datasets that measure the performance of energy efficient building technologies and control systems to provide grid services using hardware‐in‐the‐loop (HIL) test methods.
