Zhiwei Chen, Assistant Professor

Bio: Dr. Zhiwei Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering (CAEE) at Drexel University. He also holds a courtesy appoinment in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). He conducts interdisciplinary research at the intersection of transportation engineering, optimization, data science, and social science, with applications to various transportation systems such as modular, connected, and automated vehicles, shared mobility, and public transits. He is the recipient of the Best Dissertation Award from the Chinese Overseas Transportation Association (COTA) and the Charley Wootan Memorial Masters Award from the Council of University Transportation Centers (CUTC).

Manlin Gong, Ph.D. Student

Bio: Manlin Gong is a first-year Ph.D. student in Civil Engineering at Drexel University's Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering. She holds an M.S. in Transportation Engineering from South China University of Technology. She is interested in optimization, machine learning, and transportation network modeling.

Andrea Eleazar, Senior
Dornsife School of Public Health
Bio: Andrea Eleazar is a final-year undergraduate studying Public Health at the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health. Her interests include the social epidemiology of cardiovascular disease, urban health and the built environment, global health, and health communications. Through her work, she aspires to identify and mitigate health disparities among minoritized populations through data-driven storytelling to inform health and social policies. She is interested in health impact assessment for transportation systems.
Amelia Rose Aguila, Freshman

Bio: Amelia Rose Aguila is a first-year student at Drexel University pursuing a major in Architectural Engineering and a minor in Entrepreneurship. She is enrolled in the 5-year Co-Op plan and has achieved making the Dean's List. Amelia was born in Southern Jersey, about 30 minutes from Philadelphia but have always dreamed of living in a city like here. Her achievements so far include making the Dean's List in Fall Quarter of 2022, her bridge project for her Intro Design class was able to hold up to 17 kg, and graduated magna cum laude from high school. In her downtime between classes, she likes to do yoga, read fantasy books, and practice her tarot card reading skills on her friends. Every summer, she loves going down to the city of Margate with her dad to surf and tan out in the sun. Her interest in eco-driving.
Joe Mei, Junior

Bio: Joe Mei is a half finance and software engineering major. He has experience in Python programming through co-ops. He is continuously learning and upgrading his math and coding skills. He is working on data analytics for transportation equity analysis in the CAM Lab. On his free time, he prioritizes his health by going to the gym, playing basketball, and biking.

Bio: Noelle Lilan is a first-year student at Drexel University pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering. She is interested in issues surrounding sustainability, data analysis and water resource management.
