Report on van der Waals epitaxy of highly (111)-oriented BaTiO3 on MXene results from collaboration with the team of Professor Yury Gogotsi and may open a new application for MXenes as substrates for heteroepitaxy that allows growth of highly oriented films on any surface where MXene is deposited.
