The NMPP group processes both synthetic polymers and biopolymers to create platforms for multifunctional materials. We are interested in utilizing sustainable natural materials to create functional materials for various applications such as tissue engineering, sensors, packaging, nanofibers, nanoyarns, and 3D fiber constructs.
