Mini-symposium on ” Emerging Topology and Shape Optimization Techniques in Computational Design of Materials and Structures” at ASME 2019 IMECE Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE2019) at Salt Lake City, Utah, November 8-14, 2019.

Professor Najafi in collaboration with Professor To are organizing a mini-symposium on “ Emerging Topology and Shape Optimization Techniques in Computational Design of Materials and Structures“, with the topic 10-22 in Track 10 “Advanced Materials: Design, Processing, Characterization and Applications” or with the topic 11-31 in Trak 11 “Mechanics of Solids, Structures and Fluids” at ASME 2019 IMECE Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE2019) at Salt Lake City, Utah, November 8-14, 2019.

This mini-symposium brings together researchers working on state-of-the-art topology and shape optimization techniques with direct application in materials and multifunctional design to exchange ideas, present novel developments and discuss recent advances. For more detail, I invite you to take a look at the topic 10-22 in Track 10 or the topic 11-31 in Track 11.

In this topic, we only accept technical presentation and the submission deadline for abstracts for technical presentation only is July 22, 2019.

If you can participate in this mini-symposium, please submit an abstract before the due date of July 22, 2019. You can find directions at https://www.asmeconferences.org/IMECE2019/Author/NewAbstract.cfm.

Look forward to welcoming you to Salt Lake City!
