Hsiao Wei Lee is a Postdoctoral scientist in the Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics Department at Drexel University. He received his M.S. degree in civil engineering from National Taiwan University, Taiwan, and his Ph.D. in structural engineering from University at Buffalo, New York. His research was focused on theoretical mechanics, fatigue and failure analysis, corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement of steel, and Unified mechanics theory. Hsiao Wei joined the MCMB lab at Drexel University in 2023 as a Postdoc scientist, currently working on the damage-healing modeling of bacterial-induced self-healing concretes using the phase-field method.
