The MCMB Lab recently conducted an outreach program to introduce the Downingtown Area Robotics Club (DAR) from Exton, PA to design optimization. This camp covered topics such as topology optimization, and mechanical design using AI/ML techniques. During the program, the camp attendees gained hands-on experience using educational software to find optimized designs of structures. The robotics club intends to utilize their newly acquired skills to design components for their competition robots.
