Li Meng is a postdoctoral scientist in the Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics Department at Drexel University. He received his M.S. degree in Automotive Engineering from Chongqing University, China, and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Cincinnati, Ohio. His research was focused on finite element analysis, fracture mechanics, cohesive zone model, phase field model, fracture of brittle material, and fracture of ductile material. Li joined the MCMB lab at Drexel University in 2023 as a postdoc scientist, currently working on the damage-healing modeling of bacterial-induced self-healing concretes using the phase-field method.
