Gabriel Holder is a dual BS/MS student in the Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics Department. Starting at Drexel in 2016, Gabriel’s first co-op was completed with Exponent Inc., where he helped the biomedical device testing group with wear-testing of biomedical implants. In his next co-op, he assisted Thermo Systems with the design and implementation of industrial control systems at various sites in New York City. For his third and final co-op, he helped a government contractor, Innovative Defense Technologies, engineer software and virtual capabilities for on-demand software updates and testing. His MS research work is in the area of optimization of programmable materials. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi.
