Sobhan Honarvar is a Ph.D student in the Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics Department. He earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from K.N. Toosi University of Technology (KNTU) and Sharif University of Technology (SUT) in Iran, respectively. He joined MCMB lab at the Drexel University in 2023. His research focuses on the fracture of biological and engineering composite materials (e.g., bone and concrete) and fracture resistance design via topology optimization.
