Vignesh Perumal is a Ph.D. student in the Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics Department. He received a B. E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Mumbai, India, and completed his M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering & Mechanics from the Drexel University. Thereafter, he joined the MCMB Lab, in collaboration with Dr. Antonios Kontsos, to work on optimization methods for better additive manufacturing outcomes. His interests are Computational Mechanics, Design Optimization, and Additive Manufacturing. He is a member of ASME and ACM.
