Dr. Guannan Chen recently defended his PhD dissertation entitled “Tunable Interface Non-linear Electron Transport in Semiconductor Nanowire Heterostructures and Its Application in Optoelectronics” to a thesis committee of Professors Jason B Baxter, Steven J May, James M Rondinelli, Ritesh Agarwal (Penn), and Spanier. He has accepted and will soon begin a position with Applied Materials in Santa Clara CA (now named Eteris following a merger with Tokyo Electron in 2014). Congratulations to Guannan on an outstanding thesis and many excellent contributions, and on his new position!
