Multi-Nozzle Biopolymer Heterogeneous Deposition System

Multi-Nozzle Biopolymer Heterogeneous Deposition System, a proprietary system that provides a biofriendly environment to simultaneously deposit multiple scaffolding materials with living cells, growth factor, drugs, biological and non-biological components. Different nozzle types that include pressure assisted micro-valves, solenoid valves, piezoelectric valves and, precision extruding screw driven are currently being explored for fabrication of cell-embedded tissue constructs, cellular tissue threads, and cell printing and patterning.

Precision Extrusion Deposition System

Precision Extrusion Deposition System is an in-house developed freeform fabrication system for extruding thermoplastic polymer-based biomaterials for tissue scaffold construction. Hybrid thermoplastic biomaterials and nano fiber carrier materials are being explored for possible tissue engineering application.

ZCorp

ZCorp 420 is a commercially available rapid prototyping system, is currently used for biomodeling and surgical planning model fabrication. The system uses corn starch and plaster based powders for model fabrication combined with specific binders for model fabrication.
