Babak’s SEM image is on the cover of Advanced Materials

PhD student Babak Anasori’s image has made it to the front cover of Advanced Materials (Volume 23, Issue 37). The scanning electron microscopy (SEM) image shows graphene-like 2D crystals of Ti₃C₂ called MXene. The full article, published in that issue, describes the exfoliation of the MAX phase Ti₃AlC₂ by etching the aluminum out in HF.
