PhD student Babak Anasori is selected as one of the top 10 finalists for the Graduate Excellence in Materials Science (GEMS) Award by The American Ceramic Society (ACerS).
Each finalist will be awarded a cash honorarium of $100 and a certificate from The American Ceramic Society in MS&T2012 in Pittsburgh, PA. In addition, depending on the quality of their presentations in MS&T2012, the top three will be selected by the Award Selection committee and will receive the Diamond award and the others the Sapphire award.
