Babak’s electron microscopy image wins the Roland B. Snow award in MS&T 2012

Ph.D. students Babak Anasori and Michael Naguib received the Roland B. Snow Award from the American Ceramic Society for their work on “Green MXene Turtle”. This award is presented for the best ceramographic work at the annual meeting of the American Ceramic Society and consists of a monetary award and a Steuben glass artifact. Their entry also received the first place in the Scanning Electron Microscopy Category. The SEM image that was captured by Babak shows MXene particles (Michael’s research). The MS&T conference took place October 7-11 in Pittsburgh, PA.
