Welcome to Juan Cruz who joined the group as the STAR (Students Tackling Advanced Research) program scholar!
Prof. Pomerantseva visited the laboratory of Prof. Patrice Simon at the Paul Sabatier University in France, as a part of the Erasmus Mundus Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion+ (MESC+) Visiting Scholar Program. They discussed and carried out the research on energy storage properties of MXene-derived chemically preintercalated bilayered vanadium oxides in aqueous energy storage systems with the focus on aqueous Zn-ion batteries. Prof. Pomerantseva gave a seminar “Synthesis of Versatile Electrode Materials for Electrochemical Energy Storage via Chemical Preintercalation Approach”.
Prof. Pomerantseva presented an invited talk titled “Chemical Preintercalation Synthesis of versatile electrode materials for electrochemical energy storage” at the 50th Middle Atlantic Regional Meeting (MARM) of the American Chemical Society (ACS).
