Newest MAX phase group member Joseph Halim starts as a PhD student January 2012. He will work with researchers at Linkoping University to characterize the electrical properties of 2-dimensional “MXenes.”

2011 was a productive year for the MAX phase research group. Collectively, the group published ~27 papers over the past 12 months – that’s about one every two weeks!
