The Barry Goldwater Scholarship & Excellence in Education Foundation presents the most prestigious undergraduate scholarship in the natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering in America.
Supported by her mentors, Christopher Shuck, Yury Gogotsi, and Ph.D. Candidate Mark Anayee, Marley’s research focus is the synthesis and characterization of new MXenes. She recently attended and presented her work “M5X4: A Family of MXenes” at the TMS Spring Meeting. Marley is truly a standout member of our team!
After finishing her undergraduate degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Drexel University, Marley will work toward a Ph.D. in Materials Science with a focus on nanomaterials for environmentally friendly energy sources. Marley also intends to teach at the University level.
