According to the Stanford List, Professor Gogotsi now ranks 27th in the world among all scientists in all disciplines and the 3rd in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, as well as #3 in Materials Science in 2022. Former DNI students and post-docs Mohit Saraf, Kanit Hantanasirisakul, Mohamed Alhabeb, Kathleen Maleski, Mykola Seredych, Meikang Han, Babak Anasori, Maria Lukatskaya, Meng Chiang (Mark) Zhao, Majid Beidaghi, Christopher Shuck, Olha Mashtalir, and Narendra Kurra, DNI alumni of the past decade, are included in this list of the most impactful researchers in the world under Drexel affiliation. Many other DNI alumni, including Vadym Mochalin, Michael Naguib, Kelsey Hatzell, and Gleb Yushin, are also on the list.
