Prof. Yury Gogotsi has applied for a new patent with Tae-Woo Lee (Seoul National University) and Kathleen Maleski (GE Research). MXene-containing electrodes, display devices, electrochromic devices, and other optoelectronic devices can benefit from the extraordinary properties of transparent and/or colored MXene materials. In particular, MXenes can be used as transparent conducting electrodes based on their high electrical conductivity and tuneable work function.
