Ernest L. Stagliano (1930 – 2013) received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Drexel Universtiy in 1953 and 1961 respectively. He worked for General Electric Co. from 1957 to 1979 in the design and application of protective relays. Professor Stagliano joined the Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty at Drexel University in 1978, and primarily taught in the area of protective relaying and power systems.
