Profile
Khalid Hurayb received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Miami University (MU) in May, 2012. He then joined the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) to further his education. He earned a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering in August, 2014. Currently, he has joined Drexel’s CEPE and is working towards obtaining a PhD in Electrical Engineering.
At UNLV, he worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the ECE Department and was a Graduate Research Assistant for the Transportation Research Center. At MU, he was awarded an Undergraduate Associate Position to assist with teaching English to International Students. In addition, Khalid interned at the Saudi Armed Forces Military Hospital and Saudi Electricity Company.
His research interests include modeling, monitoring, and optimizing photovoltaic power systems.
